Putting it All Together
At Harvest Foundation, we know that you want your children to grow up to be discerning young adults, equipped for a life of service. A life in which they show love to their neighbour and honour God. This is why you’ve chosen Reformed Christian education — a commitment that comes with a significant cost. School tuition is expensive and only going up from here. This is leaving you feeling strained — financially, emotionally and maybe even spiritually. Educating our children in the way of the LORD ought to be a joy!
We understand completely. We are parents, teachers, board members, principals, and supporting members of your community. We went through these same schools ourselves and have chosen Reformed Christian education for our children too. We understand the commitment, service, and support required. We have felt many times that there must be a better way to raise funds. That is why we established the Harvest Foundation.
Harvest has created some innovative financial tools that allow us to pool our resources together.
Over time we’ve grown a sizeable fund that now generates an annual income for our partner schools. We currently disperse $900,000+ a year to 18 schools in Ontario — allowing them to keep tuition costs down for young families. This amounts to approximately $800 per family per year. With your help we can continue to grow these resources so that so that by 2028 we can support our participant schools with the equivalent of one month of tuition per family (approx $1000), and thereby keep solid Reformed Christian education accessible to all.
Harvest Endowment Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation chartered by the federal government, and registered by Canada Revenue Agency as a public foundation under charities business number 82538 2526 RR0001.
Managed by a volunteer board and officers, the foundation ensures administrative expenses are kept to a minimum. The Harvest Endowment Foundation depends on the support of generous donors.
